GROUNDKEEPER (Patent Pending):
We at Seneca Communications believe that the best way to combat the growing copper theft problem is to make would-be thieves work for their cache. The Groundkeeper has been tested in multiple applications and it takes an acetylene torch and at least 10 minutes to penetrate and remove the steel box and over 30 minutes with a sawzall. Noise and time will discourage the common copper thief who is accustomed to entering a cell-site with a pair of bolt cutters to retrieve their treasure. The Groundkeeper will deter the common thief and preserve the grounding system for another day.
The Groundkeeper can be manufactured for any size ground bar to suit any needs. It is constructed of galvanized high tempered steel, non-penetrable locks and 10mm security chain and anchored into the ground with concrete and rebar. The Groundkeeper can be delivered and installed for the same cost as replacing your grounding system a single time.
Seneca Communications will replace the grounding system at our own cost if the Groundkeeper fails to prevent theft where applied, excluding theft with a power tool, torch or ripped from the ground with a vehicle or other engine powered device.
