Communications Employee Benefit Package
Seneca Communications offers one week (40 hours) of accrued paid vacation for the first year of employment, two weeks for years 2 thru 7, three weeks for years 8 and thereafter. Vacation is allowed to rollover to the next year at a maximum of 10 days (80 hours). Vacation days taken must be noted to accounting to insure correct payroll processing.
Seneca Communications offers one week (40 hours) of paid sick leave for illness or other emergency.
You will become eligible for health and dental insurance coverage after 90 days of employment. Seneca Communications covers the cost of employee premiums. Family members may be added at to the coverage for an additional premium. Employees are responsible for the cost of this additional coverage.
You will become eligible for participation in our 401k plan after one (1) year of service. Seneca Communications contributes 3% of your annual salary at year-end. You may make additional contributions from your salary as allowed by the IRS.
Seneca Communications offers (8) hours of paid holiday time for the following days:
-New Years Eve
-New Years Day
-Martin Luther King Jr. Day
-Labor Day
-Memorial Day
-4th of July
-Thanksgiving Day
-Christmas Eve
-Christmas Day
In addition, Seneca will give you a cell phone allowance, provide transportation, pay for hotel accommodations or offer a no receipt lodging pier diem as well as a daily pier diem paid for meals.
We realize that working away from home can add stresses on the family, so we will fly you home after the 3rd concurrent week of field work at no cost to the employee.
State income tax withholdings are based on the state of your home address. Seneca Communications is a drug free workplace and random testing is done at management’s discretion.
