Rick
Hanafin – President and Principal
Mr. Hanafin was once President and owner of Cellular Technology
International (Cell-Tech). That company was acquired by o2wireless
Solutions in 1999 and he remained as one of their chief executives,
assuming the role of Executive Vice President & General Manager
until o2wireless was dissolved in 2003. He was in charge of their
equipment installation division. Mr. Hanafin has been involved in
electronics and specifically involved with wireless radio, power
supplies and related telecommunication infrastructure since 1980.
As a founder of Seneca Communications, Mr. Hanafin has installed,
managed or directly supervised over 25,000 BTS installations both
domestically and internationally. Seneca Communications, under Mr.
Hanafin’s supervision, employs over 140 employees and has the
capability to deploy one (1) to fifty (50) installation teams. Mr.
Hanafin has qualified Seneca Communications with all major radio
and power equipment vendors.
Jerry
Propst – Director of Finance & Administration, Principal
Mr. Propst has over 11 years experience in the telecommunications
industry. He has performed various tasks including installation,
purchasing, program management, accounting, estimating and computer
support. This wide variety of skills allows him to see projects
and the industry from many different viewpoints and provides for
successful leadership and interaction with all departments. He is
currently pursuing his degree in Accounting and Finance and is one
of the founding partners of Seneca Communications. Mr. Propst is
instrumental in assuring contract requirements such as insurance,
performance bonds and financial criteria are satisfied. In addition,
he maintains all corporate banking and vendor relationships.
Mickey
J. Smith – Director of Operations, Principal
Mr. Smith began his career in 1995 while building and maintaining
tower structures and has since specialized in the implementation
and project management of over 5,000+ base station installations
and integrations. As one of the founders of Seneca Communications,
Mr. Smith brings an exceptional knowledge of the wireless industry.
Prior to joining Seneca, Mr. Smith was a Senior Project Manger for
o2wireless Solutions as well as Cellular Technology International.
He also brings a wide arrange of international project experience
to Seneca’s capabilities, including project management in Nicaragua
and Mexico. His international and domestic experience has proven
invaluable in cultivating long-lasting relationships within the
global wireless industry.
Rick
Dickson – Senior Program Manager, Principal
Mr. Dickson has over 12 years experience within the telecommunication
industry and is certified with virtually every major manufacturer,
i.e. Nortel, Hughes, Nokia, Ericsson, etc. Mr. Dickson is responsible
for the operations and administration of Seneca’s Central Regional
Office. He has been involved in all aspects of the construction
process and personally worked on over 5,000+ sites. As one of the
founding Principals for Seneca Communications, it is his ability
to deliver high quality services at low cost that has earned him
a reputation and loyal following throughout the telecommunications
industry. Mr. Dickson attended Louisiana State University.
Paul
Nolen – Senior Program Manager, Principal
A fourteen-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Mr.
Nolen brings multi-faceted experience to his position as Senior
Program Manager. Mr. Nolen began his career as an equipment installer
and has integrated more than 1,000+ sites for most major manufacturers.
He quickly advanced to management positions and is now one of the
founding Principals of Seneca Communications. Mr. Nolen brings a
rich background of experience to Seneca Communications and will
be spearheading the administration of Seneca’s East Regional Office.
Don
Zabcik – Director, Marketing
During the past twenty-four years of telecommunication experience,
Mr. Zabcik has worked for communication manufacturing companies
and various national and international communication companies.
His roles involved the responsibility in providing business management;
strategic planning; and system designs, implementations and operations.
Mr. Zabcik has written technical specifications for products and
processes; generation of corporate budgets, contracts, leases and
major purchases. Mr. Zabcik brings enormous attributes to the Seneca
Communications management team and will support the company’s strategic
marketing plan and direction. He advises on market segments and
trends, monitors the direction and needs of Seneca’s major clients
and oversees all advertising and public relations maters for the
company. Mr. Zabcik diverse background in engineering, construction
and management provides him with a solid understanding of Seneca’s
diversified services portfolio. Mr. Zabcik has an MSIE and BSIE
from Texas A&M University.
Dan
Bowman – Director
Mr. Bowman has thirteen years of experience within the telecommunications
industry where his efforts have focused on wireless systems deployment.
He initially began his career while implementing Cellular Base Stations
and MTSO equipment. Prior to joining Seneca Communications, Mr.
Bowman was a Principal and Vice-President of Cellular Technology
International. In that capacity, he led the first Hughes Network
Systems team into Russia to deploy their new CDMA wireless system.
Mr. Bowman is a 5-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a graduate
of Illinois State University.
Mike
Henderson – Program Manager
A Seven year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Mr.
Henderson brings a broad range of experience and back ground to the company.
Mr. Henderson began his career as an equipment installer and quickly moved into
management position supervising equipment deployments in ranges for 100
cabinets to 2000. With a diverse background in Army aviation electronics and
restaurant management Mr. Henderson was able to adapt to the fast paced
telecommunications field, And looks forward to the new challenges it brings on
a daily basis.
John
Malloy – Field Operations Logistics Manager
With over 11 years of telecommunications industry background,
Mr. Malloy began with Cellular Technologies International
in 1995, rapidly going from field manager to project manager. In 1996, Mr.
Malloy was responsible for the Carolina’s NORTEL project managing the build
of over 1700 Type 800 and 12000 cabinets and following through to the completed
build-out. In 2003, Mr. Malloy was responsible for the implementation of the
SPRINT PCS link from Arkansas to Nebraska. In 2003-2004 Mr. Malloy managed the
VERIZON Microwave Project, overseeing shelter refurbishing, installing ground rings,
halos and power bays, and the installation of new buildings. One of
Mr. Malloy’s most recent projects has been in Louisiana, working with the management team
for the Katrina rebuild. His wide range of expertise includes supervising and
scheduling work crews, emergency deployment, purchasing, asset tracking and
DOT. Mr. Malloy’s prior experiences include 15 years with the military police
and in his spare time he enjoys fishing, golf and car racing.
Yaron
Goldman – Program Manager
Mr. Goldman brings 13 years of broad experience in the telecommunication industry to
Seneca Communications. His ties with Seneca President Rick Hanafin go
back to 1994, when he worked on Nortel Projects in Israel and South America
His expertise comes from experiences not only as Project
Manager or Wireless Implementation Engineer for various companies in the States;
this Telecom All- Rounder has done it all: assembled and controlled the
warehouse, climbed towers, has overseen construction of foundation pads for
shelters. He has performed Site Acquisitions, worked with Nokia BTS equipment
for AT&T and Cingular Wireless and installed cabinets, doing simple and
complex upgrades himself. Mr. Goldman has had hundreds of sites under his
control and designed tracking databases for them and controls their billing as
well. Prior to his telecom involvement he ran his own electrical business.
